Privacy
Last updated 18 September 2026. In plain words: we ask for the least we can, we never sell it, and you can have it deleted.
What we collect
When you buy a copy, you give us your name, email address and phone number. Your name and email go on the ownership page inside your PDF, so the copy is registered to you. Your phone number is never printed in the book; it exists only so we can find your order if you lose your email.
If you buy a gift, you also give us the name and email of each person you are buying for, and your note to them if you write one. We email them their copy and nothing else.
We also keep the payment reference, the amount, the date, which payment method you used, and a short tag showing which link brought you to the site, like a post on Instagram or TikTok.
What we never see
Your card number, bank login and PIN never reach us. Paystack handles the payment and tells us only whether it succeeded, how much was paid, and the payment method used.
Who else handles your details
- Paystack takes the payment.
- Supabase stores the sales record and your download link, on servers in the United States.
- Resend sends the emails, from servers in Ireland.
- Netlify and Cloudflare host the site, pass on email sent to our address, and count page views.
They act on our instructions. We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with anyone else.
Cookies and counting visits
We set no cookies and run no advertising trackers. The site stores one small value in your browser, the tag that records which link you arrived from, and it disappears when you close the tab.
We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It records the page you looked at, roughly where in the world you are, the kind of device and browser, and which site sent you. It uses no cookies, does not fingerprint you, and cannot follow you to other sites. We cannot tell who you are from it.
How long we keep it
We keep sales records while we are required to for accounts and tax. Download links expire on their own. You can ask us to delete your details at any time, and we will, except where we have to keep proof of a sale.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act, you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Write to hello@readthechallenge.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
If someone bought you a copy as a gift and you would rather we did not keep your details, tell us and we will remove them.
Contact
The Challenge is sold by its authors, Daniel Sesugh Terlumun and Levi Henry Group, in Nigeria. "We" on this page means the two of them. Email hello@readthechallenge.com and a person will read it.
